United Methodist Children's Home - Babies First
Provides residential group care for up to five mothers and their babies.

The long term goals of this program are:
- To strengthen the bond between the mother and child
- To build self esteem and pride
- To promote economic self-reliance
- To prevent repeat pregnancies while single
- To nurture or reestablish links to the family
- To help young mothers function at their full potential

 

Changed Lives Christian Center

Faith Church Member Hal Wycoff, Founder and Executive Director of "The Nest,"
is now Programs Manager for Changed Lives Christian Center, Inc.,
a mission for the homeless in Birmingham, Alabama.
